Richard Anthony Eldridge, aged 67 B.Sc., FCA, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nature

Richard Eldridge is a Chartered Accountant, whose experience has been primarily within the oil and gas industry, having originally qualified as a mechanical engineer with Shell. From 1989 to 1996 he was a vice president of Chase Manhattan Bank, with executive responsibility for oilfield service projects. In 1997 he negotiated the contract to build state of the art waste treatmen facilities for the Port of Gibraltar. These were commissioned in 2001/2. He is also the chairman of Unique Maritime Group FZC, a U.A.E. group with operations in the Middle East, Singapore, South Africa and the USA, which supplies a wide selection of services to the offshore industries. He has previously been a director of a number of public companies in the oil, gas and oilfield service industries.

 

 

Darren Paul Laguea Aged 42, Executive Director of Nature

Darren Laguea is the Managing Director of Nature Port Reception Facilities Limited based in Gibraltar. He is also the senior executive Director responsible for expansion of the Group's Port Waste operations internationally. After an initial career in the Royal Naval Auxiliary fleet involved with ship refuelling and transport of oil , he continued his career with major oil companies including Texaco and holds a masters ticket. For the last 15 years he has been involved with waste oil collection , fuel oil transfer and bunkering , and since 2003 has been responsible as the executive Director in Gibraltar , for the considerable growth achieved in the Company's operations in both Gibraltar and that region , including the reception of waste oils from the Canary Islands and latterly the export of recovered oil to Rotterdam.

 


Stig Ovar Keller, aged 37
, Executive Director of Nature and Senior Executive Director of the Group’s Norwegian Subsidiaries

Stig Keller has 15 years experience of complex wastewater treatment and still has close relationships to the Environmental Technology Department at the University of Stavanger. He is the inventor of the Nature coagulant and a co-founder of Nature. He has responsibility for the research, laboratory testing and treatment technology development activities in Nature, for both offshore waste-waters and produced water from oilfield reservoirs.

 

Peter Snell, aged 64, FCA, Finance Director of Nature

Peter Snell is a Chartered Accountant and venture capitalist with significant experience in the development of small and medium sized businesses in the manufacturing, contracting and service industries. He is currently a director of Frontier Travel Ltd, a tour operator, Gruppo Speciale Ltd, a stone and wood flooring contractor, IMR International Ltd, a medical database marketing company, West Sussex Partners Ltd, a ‘Nameco’ at Lloyds, and House of Italy Limited, a property company. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

 

 

Nigel Sandy, aged 63, MBA, Semi-Executive Director of Nature

Nigel Sandy commenced his career in the land aggregates industry as an accountant and has an MBA from Bath University. Following experience in the UK and Holland with Boskalis Group, he joined Hanson PLC in 1986 and subsequently was appointed managing director of the Hanson Group Waste Recycling activities in 1991. These were sold to the Waste Recycling Group PLC, a public Group which became a constituent of the FTSE 250 index with Nigel as Chief Executive. In 2003 he led the sale of WRG to Terra Firma, a major private capital Group. Subsequently Nigel has successfully reorganised two private waste and salvage groups on behalf of their shareholders and bankers. From 1994 to 1998 Nigel was Deputy Chairman and then Chairman of the Environmental Services Association, organisation representing the National and EU interests of the UK waste sector.

 

Charles Fairweather, aged 60, FCA, Non Executive Director of Nature

Charles Fairweather is a Chartered Accountant with a wide range of commercial and property interests in the UK, Eurpoe and the USA. Following many years as Senior Partner of a London accountancy practise, he has, in recent years, focused on the development of a number of businesses including venture capital involvement in technologies derived from University research. He is a recently retired Chairman of The Royal Albert Hall, and a current Director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, among his many interests.

 

 


Responsibilities and Committees


Richard Eldridge is Company Secretary in addition to his responsibilities as Executive Director and Chairman. He is also Chairman of Nature Port Reception Facilities Limited in Gibraltar
and of Nature Enviromental Solutions Limited.

Darren Laguea is an Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nature Group. He is also the the Managing Director of Nature Port Reception Facilities ltd in Gibraltar.

 

Peter Snell is the Financial Director of the Group.


Stig Keller is chairman the Senior Technical Executive Director of the Group, and is chairman of Nature Technology Solution AS in Norway and an Executive Director of all Norwegian subsidiaries and associate companies of the Group.


Peter Snell and Charles Fairweather (Non-executive Directors of the Company) comprise the Remuneration Committee of the Company, with regard to remuneration of Directors and Senior
Staff.


Peter Snell and Richard Eldridge comprise the Audit Committee of the Company and Group.


Nigel Sandy is a semi-executive Director of the Company and Director of the Group Norwgian subsidiaries and associate companies engaged in environmental and waste water treatment activities for the Group in Norway.
